I'll start with mine...since I recently switched my major from Health services management to nursing; I am just barely starting on my pre-reqs.
I will be taking Biology003, Math115, Psychology001 and Psychology041...
Most of the classes that I previously took weren't transferable so I feel like I am starting from scratch but nonetheless; I am super excited and can't wait to start school.
I have a somewhat light load compared to the last three semesters - taking microbiology, and English 101 - two of only three co-reqs that I have left. I have all of my pre-reqs finally done. I was in the same boat you are - I already have a four year degree in something else, and most of what I took before didn't apply to a medical education, so I still had to take biology, chemistry, psych, math, anatomy & physiology. But I managed to get them all done and have a GPA of 3.59 (so far).... I think your previous experience in school will help you, even if you didn't get the transfer credits - that's how it's worked out for me. I'll be taking the NET sometime within the next week as I want to get my app in for nursing school by the end of the month. Best of luck to you in your nursing education :-)
Hi all!!!
I had some changes with my spring schedule and I will be taking the following classes instead;
Health011
Math115
Psychology001
Biology003 with Lab
and I am on the wait list for Sociology..
I am trying to finish all my pre-reqs by winter session...I know it is somewhat ambitious and I will definitely have no life for the next 11 months, but my academic adviser told me it is doable....just need some very intense dedication and discipline...wish me luck...
Good luck again to everyone and thanks for sharing!!!
