What does your spouse do?

Published

I was just wondering what does your spouse do for a living? My husband is a mechanic. At the past 3 shops he has worked about 30-40% of the guys he works with are married to someone in the healthcare field. He finds it intriguing. So I'm wondering what field is your spouse in?

My dear wife is a highly underpaid stay home mom. She told me that she is going to form a union!!!!!!

My DH has his degree in Architecture, but he loves to build, so he currently works for a custom homebuilder, managing custom home projects in the $400K to $2 million range.

My hubby manages a rock climbing gym (which keeps him in great shape :chuckle ) and is a part-time real estate agent.

Very interesting thread!

My husband has worked for General Motors / Delphi Electronics for 28 1/2 years as a factory worker. The plant where he works makes the wiring harnesses that go in dashes and for taillights.

We get great deals on GM products!

So far NO nurses married to MD's...go figger. (Dr Phil are you reading?)

My hubby is a sheetmetal mechanic 24 yrs, now working in management and software for the industry. (software design systems for heating and AC ventilation systems)

Renee I'll keep my eyes open for ya. :p

My DH is an electrical engineer and builds homes on the side. He's the "technical" side of the relationship...I'm the "heart, feeling" side! It makes for a great match!!

Very interesting thread, btw...:)

My hubby is a minister :saint:

My husband is/was a Physical Therapist-I had to break my leg to meet him, even though we worked in the same hospital for several years before that. He currently is a house-husband to the 3 dogs and I, while he is going through California Workers Comp. hell. Acute care (with too many 4' x 4' total knee patients) has finally taken its toll on his low back, arms and legs. At least with the practice, I don't cringe when he offers to do the laundry or "whip something up" in the kitchen! :chuckle

DH is a computer guy. I sorta understand what he does but couldn't make it into a handy job label...

Not sure what it means but I'm noticing lots of military or law enforcement matches here.

My husband owns an archery shop and teaches archery to kids in the summer through the local community college.

I think my user name says it all! :rotfl: DH is a Weapons Instructor.

Another Air Force spouse here. My husband just hit twenty years in the AF. We just found out last week that he made Chief Master Sergeant. I am so proud of him. He is in Intelligence at the Pentagon.
