Lately, there have been some things at work that, as a nurse, I never thought I'd have to say to my colleagues.
A few things that stand out:
"Please don't walk barefoot in the hallway"
"If you need to apply lotion to your feet, please leave the nurse's station to do so"
"Please avoid printing out entire 300 page textbooks using the work printer"
How about you? What are some things you never thought you'd have to say to coworkers?

Oh, he chucked the containers (2 Med cups) in his mouth and swallowed them with only a sip of water! I was like-what the what????

Dang, and here I am with my two little extra strength Tylenols and a multivitamin like, "Nope...need another sip...maybe I should try applesauce?" ?

My only experience with the exception to this med administration rule was also with methadone! Had a guy on med/surg once who needed something like 20x a "normal" dose. Crawling the walls until he could get his daily dose, which the pharmacy insisted couldn't be possible. Many calls back and forth between his methadone clinic and the hospital pharmacy later, he got his 20 syringes of liquid methadone squirted into a cup and knocked it back. Was an absolute peach the rest of the shift.
