What is the most questions anyone has had on the NCLEX-PN exam?

Published

I am wondering what the highest amount of questions anyone has had on the state boards.......and still passed. Most of what I have read, seems to be in the 80's. Has anyone one gone the full 205 and still passed?

Thank you........Lavina

dear friend;

i had a friend that was an a student have 205 questions. she just is not a good test taker.and passed. however myself have had 205 this last time around and have not. just take practice exams. you should do fine. thanosgirl

I had 118 and just found out Thurs. that I passed!!! A fellow studen of ours had the full amount (I believe 225), and he did not pass. I haven't heard of anyone getting under 125 and not passing, but the NCLEX gods say that the number isn't a good indication (yeah right). Anyway, good luck!

Just to let you know, I know a girl that took the test twice, taking 205 questions both times, failing once, and passing the second time. If you got all of the questions and are feeling a little discouraged, remember that sometimes the computer actually picks a test to go the entire 205 questions just to see which questions are good and bad and if some need to be thrown out. If that helps at all....

I had 135 and a girl in my class got 205 and we both passed first time.

In Canada its two booklets of questions. One book in the morning the other done in the afternoon. No idea of the number of questions, but everyone had the same number.

All time fav. question:

The LPN walks into clients room. Client asks for a sexual encounter. The appropriate answer is

a) That is an improper request.

b) There is an extra charge for that service.

c) Leave room calling patient a pervert.

d) That will have to wait until the end of my shift. (or something similar)

The second fav. was related to testicular self exam and how a healthy testical should feel. One writer felt it discriminated against her because she was a virgin!

These questions were actually on my exam. Along with IV's, PEG, NG, pressure sores, anatomy, ethics, and morals.

Now that FUNNY!! :rotfl:

My best friend just took nclex-pn last week and passed with 160 questions. She did not even study until a couple of days before test. I studied very hard for months before nclex and passed with 85 questions.

Is this really true?
