I am curious about this student nurse board, and am wondering what kind of nursing programs everyine is in. I am currently an LPN, and I am now in an LPN to RN transition program. When I finish I will have an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN). What about everyone else? You can tell us what school you're going to and anything else that might be of interest. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am in the BSN program at the University of Rhode Island!! I'm a sophmore in this 4 year program. REalizing now that this year is a lot harder than freshman year, but i'm hoping all the hard work is worth it. good luck to everyone!:p

I am in an ASN program right now. There is a BSN program in which I can go into after I get done with my ASN at the same school. It is also done at a few hospital around ATL. I think that the program is neat that we can take the classes via sat. for our BSN program as long as we have our core done for the program.

Hi,

My name is Ann Walker and I am a freshman at the University of South Florida. at the moment I am trying to complete my prerequisites which will take me up to december 2002, Then I will enter the Nursing College Spring 2003.

The program is okay so far and I am hoping to continue to do my best get at least a 3.8GPA.

I am a freshman at Wallace Community College in Alabama. I am taking all of my pre-requisites at the moment and I will be entering the ADN program Fall semester 2002. I am real anxious and excited about going into the nursing program. I hear all kind of stories about the nursing program but I don't receive negative feedback. Like anything else in life in order to get anything good there is going to have to be some sacrifice. I know that if I apply myself that the sky is the limit. My plans are to get my BSN, MSN and then eventually my doctorate degree in nursing. I want my speciality field to be psychiatric Nursing.

May God Bless Each and Everyone of Us and Lord Teach Us To Take One Day At a Time:rolleyes:

Shunda :)

Hey Xanadu13 and Cindy_A!

Cool, huh?:D

Julie:)

I am in the ADN program st Wallace Community College is Selma, Alabama. This is my first semester. It is a 5 semester program and I will finish in May 2003. Sounds like a long time but hey 2001 is almost outta here!!:)

I am taking prerequisites for the ADN degree at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. I will graduate in 2004.

HI!

I am also in the ASN program at NGCSU in ATL. I graduate in May 2002!! Yea! After that I will be doing a bridge program for my BSN that is connected with St. Joseph's Hospital and NGCSU. I'm excited about the next year and a half ahead of me. And then...I'm done!!! I'm still considering whether or not to get my MSN as a nurse practitioner or becoming a nurse midwife. Those decisions will come later.

Hi!

I'm enrolled in the ADN program at the College of Southern Maryland. I'll graduate in May 2003. Everything has been moving so fast since I started school.... that doesn't seem that far off now. I can't wait.

:p

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hi everyone,

I didn't realize how many student nurses in Indiana there are.

It's cool to have so many on this board!!

KristaB: Frontier is only 21 miles from my home in Kentucky and it's where I plan to attend as well! It's got an AWESOME rep and I'm so amazed that people from all over the world know about it. I met a nurse from England that went there a few years ago. (Strange to me since Mary Breckinridge had to go to England to get training way back when and Europe is a hotbed for midwives) When will you graduate with your ADN? Are you hoping to work in L&D once you get your license? Ciao for now~ Ang;)
