What pay are nurses making these days?

Hello,

I am doing an anonymous study on what nurses are making these days.

From entry level diploma, associates, baccleaureate.

DNSc, FAAN, ANCeF

And any other specialty and surname of nurses that are out there today including nurses that have their MBA's

Please respond briefly with your pay, which state you live in and what type of hospital, doctor's office, nursing home or other area you live in and your specialty.

I am a LPN and the base start out for LTC is $18.75 US. I am 1 yr in as a LPN and still ejoying the work, I also doe an ON-call spot at an urgent care, the pay there is alot lower, but the job is cool, I get to see all kinds of things. The pay is only $14.75. I still think becoming a nurse is the best move I ever made.

can't edit my post...but anyway, I just found out the shift differentials at my hospital.

I work nights (7p-7a). My base pay is $23.50/hr. From 1900-0000, pay will increase to $27.02. From 0000-0700, pay will increase to $29.37. On weekends, it gets bumped up to $31.72.

I'm also a new grad.

I'm from NE Ohio and as a new grad I make $26.50/hour with $2.00/hour shift differential.

Experienced $40.42 hour 9th step

$100.00 extra a month for BSCN

If you work in the OR

$50.00 month extra for specialty in OR

Operating Room

3.75 hour to be on call & not called

0.70 hour evening shift premium

1.25 hour in charge pay

call back time & 1/2 for 1st 2 hours $ 60.63 hour if you are at the top pay schedule

call back time & 1/2 for 1st 2 hours $ 46.18 hour if you are at the bottom pay schedule

double time for all call back hours after the 1st 2 hours = $80.84 hour @ top """"
