What is your passing percentile?

Right now 76% is passing. I guess next semester they are bumping it up to 80%. Scary- eek!

Our passing score is 77%, and I don't have a problem with that. What does bother me is that you have to have 95 or higher for an A. No one has ever made an A in the nursing classes. I've missed it 2 times by 1 point. My GPA went from a 4.0 to a 3.5 very quickly!

PS, I agree that the passing standards should be very high!!

At my school it's 78%. We just finished the first semester in Dec. We start second semester next week. We began with 40 all together, 3 failed and only 5 (including myself :yelclap: ) got A's!! So far I'm at the top of my class, which I NEVER expected in nursing school. It would be awesome to keep it that way :).

At my school you have to pass with 80%. I also agree that the passing standards should be high.

thats crazy at my school the pass is 65%

At my ADN program in michigan we must pass with a 78%. A 77% is considered a 1.5 and you must have 2.0 to progress in the program.

at my university the passing rate for a nursing class is 63% and for any non nursing classes like electives, etc its a 50%

I dont know how you all do it with a passing rate of 80% thats just nuts!

Ours is %75, rounded up.:nurse:

Ours is a 75%. Some of your schools with 80%, I personally think that is great. I do, however, think that probably 50% of our class would be gone. Lucky me, I get A's so I am happy either way! :p
