I'm a junior at Walla Walla College in Portland, OR. The main campus is in Walla Walla, WA. Only nursing majors are on the Portland campus, and it's great because of the small size. We have about 80 nursing students (juniors and seniors). It's a 7th day Adventist college (although I'm not Adventist). I think we have the best, most supportive staff. They really want you to succeed, and bend over backwards to help you. Anyway, I love my school and think that this is the best one in Portland (we have 4 BSN programs).
Hey guys! Just got accepted last week at Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, ohio!! :balloons: I start this fall, wil graduate 2004!! YAY! Louisepug
That's wonderful! My mother had surgery at Christ Hospital in Cinci many times. She was always very pleased with the nursing staff there. Do you live in Cinci? I lived in Mariemont for many years, just north of there. My mom passed away suddenly last year, but lived in Mt. Adams. I really, really love it there.
I am about to graduate from Floyd College in Rome, GA. This is an excellent ADN program. Since Floyd is part of the University System of GA it is very inexpensive and is geered more for non-traditional students. I have to drive an hr and half to school but it is well worth it. I have received an excellent education. They have one of the highest pass rates in the state of GA for the NCLEX. I have been told that they are harder than most but that is what makes the graduates stand out above the rest. They offer bridge programs for paramedics and LPN's as well as bridge from ADN to BSN through Kennesaw and West GA colleges. GOOD LUCK to all future RN's who will be graduating this May and June. I am very excited and I know you are too!!
Much Love,
Melissa
