I'm a junior at Walla Walla College in Portland, OR. The main campus is in Walla Walla, WA. Only nursing majors are on the Portland campus, and it's great because of the small size. We have about 80 nursing students (juniors and seniors). It's a 7th day Adventist college (although I'm not Adventist). I think we have the best, most supportive staff. They really want you to succeed, and bend over backwards to help you. Anyway, I love my school and think that this is the best one in Portland (we have 4 BSN programs).
15 months LPN program. 2nd Module(finals are early next month so almost 3rd semester) at New England Technical Institute in Connecticut. Will graduate Dec. 2004 :) :balloons:
15 month LVN program?!? WOW! mine was only like 10 months. Galveston College LVN grad may 04, working on my ADN from excelsior college
Graduated from Palomar College CC, San Marcos, CA. Great school, long time well respected nursing program and director tells me pass rates are consistently 90-100% every year since the 1970's. I felt very well prepared to take NCLEX and to be a nurse. Also tuition was free with fee waiver.
Downside is waiting list is horrendous. Last I checked 6-8 semesters!!!
