It reads like a textbook, but it's really good!
I am sorry, I have to disagree wholeheartedly. This book reads like a really good journalist's point of view documentary/ autobiographical novel and not like a textbook at all. Textbooks are very dry IMHO, this one is lively and sincere. I am enjoying reading this book.

You have every right to express your opinion. However, this writer writes so eloquently and articulates swiftly to the point that my sense is that you may wish to spend more diligent time with the writing than to judge it as dry and not back it up with why; it merits a person giving their all to understanding it. Perhaps her word usage is a bit advanced for the average Joe!

Can anyone help me with this? It is a book that I have seen mentioned on here several times. It discusses the problems with the nursing profession and health care as a whole. I have even looked it up on amazon. But now I can't remember the name of it. Anyone???
Thanks!
