Hi everyone, may be a stupid question, but, (there are no stupid questions....right?) I'm a new nurse in a ICU, and I overheard someone say the term "crumping" a few days ago. Can someone tell me what this means? Thank you very much!

Crumping, crashing, circling the drain, fixing to die... they all mean the same basic thing: the patient is in a really fast decline towards death.

crumping: trying to die, VS going down
similar to "circling the drain", crashing (crumping is slower), heading out, preparing for a celestial discharge

Yea I guess so, now I will make sure I don't ask people in the hospital if they want to go crumping after work.
