I would brush up on math skills. Maybe if you can medical terminology (gastr-, itis, cardi, etc) and abrreviations (ROM, DC, etc) so you won't feel lost if they are completely speaking another language.

So what type of math should you brush up on?

Many people tell me to brush up on basic math skills like fractions, multiplication and division, and conversions or metric system. I also purchased some great books from Amazon and Barnes and Noble, they're great. They include, Math for Meds, Calculate with Confidence, and Pharmacology Math: an Incredibly Easy Work-Out. I purchased Pharmacology Notecards by Mosby as well and I love them. I start in May and I want to be prepared as well...Good Luck!

Math and meds for nurses by dolores saxton is really great! its a little expensive though!

I would definitely recommend a Fundamentals of Nursing preparation book. For myself and many of my classmates Funds was incredibly hard because it's a completely different way of looking at questions. I would take a trip to Barnes and Noble and try and find one that works for you.

Saunder's NCLEX book is top of my priority book list.
