I am looking for a backpack. A When I was in school for my BA in Psych I went through six bags in four years. I am looking for something that can withstand my abuse. I also have to carry my Medela Pump in Style (oh the joys of breastfeeding) with me to class so I can pump on break. I need a bag that can fit on my back and that will be comfortable.ny recommendations?
I have an LL Bean Rolling deluxe backpack and LOVE it!! It has a lifetime warranty and I know Beans are good on their word- my kids have been using them for years and one time we had a zipper break 4-5 years into abuse, and got a new one IMMEDIATELY!
The wheels on mine are like Rollerblase wheels and very sturdy. The only minus is that the handle it is just a smidge short for me but I am 5'9" and mostly leg, but still it is doable.
I just found one at Marshal's (Olpymia) for $10.00. So, even if I don't need it for NS...I am not out a whole lot of $$$.
Gotta love a deal :)

Before dropping a lot of money on something I would go to your first class.I can tell you that most of "us" don't bring our books. The instructors are dealing with the power points and the books just don't get used.
So I have a backpack that was laying around the house.
I agree that JanSport makes excellent-quality backpacks. They cost about $30 to $40 in major retail stores, and can be purchased on http://www.Ebay.com for as cheaply as $9.99, which is a bargain. I've had nothing but good experiences with JanSport bags.JanSport........it has a lifetime warranty !
Oh geeshe the pump in style- I remember those days- with all three of my kids- I think I have spent about five years of my life nursing. LOL I used to have to carry that ugly black bag it came in along with my brief case to all my meetings at work. Fun! & Pumping in the car, good times! How are you going to get it in the back pack, my youngest is 4, have they gotten that much smaller in four years?
I bought a Jansport Driver8 from ebags as well. I don't start until next week so I can't say how it is. Even if I just bring one or two main texts (for reading between classes or study sessions after), it is well worth it to me to have the rolling pack. I have a loooong walk from the parking lot to class as well. And I purchased Jansport for the lifetime warranty. I figure my kids can use it in middle/high school after I'm done with it.
I got a rolling backpack 3 yrs ago from ebags.com it still looks and rolls like new its gone thru MA school and all nursing pre reqs and my first semester of school has plenty of room for all the huge book supplies and even my lap top it was a little pricey at 80 dollars but i drag it up stairs and bounce it down and it takes some serious abuse it was well worth my investment

How do you like it so far? I can't decide on one of those or a rolling backpack. I want one large enough to carry my books/misc. items/ and lunch :) !
Thanks
