Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me. I graduated with my LVN in 2012 and it's been a few years since I've had a stable job. I was wondering what I should do with my license? Should I keep looking for a job? I don't know if I can perform my job anymore. Any advice? Thanks.

Have you found another career? Are you now physically unable to work as a nurse? I'd be hesitant to let my license lapse unless I was certain I'd will never want to work as a LVN again. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Well.. first... why can't you keep a stable (4 or more months in my account) job... do you WANT to be a nurse?

Based on posting history, it would be beneficial if you first learned how to drive an automobile. An inability to drive is severely limiting your job opportunities.
You are an LVN, so I assume you are in CA or TX. Neither state has a comprehensively good public transportation system, so you must learn to drive and obtain a drivers license in order to broaden your horizons.
Also, do not allow your license to lapse.

I let my license lapse & it just got renewed. Do not *ever* let your license lapse! I will never make that mistake again.

But I kinda like that devil-may-care-cast-your-fate-to-the-wind-so-sue-me-thing-that-you-got-goin'-on-y'all.
No I haven't found another career.
To the above poster, no I haven't found another career. I'm physically okay to work as a nurse.

Okay, give us some guidance to help us help you, then.
Why aren't you working as a nurse now?
Why haven't you been able to maintain a job as a nurse? How many jobs have you had since school?
Have you learned to drive, and if not, why not?
Do you still want to be a nurse?
I can't find a job in my area. I haven't had any jobs since school. I can only drive a few miles where I live. I still want to be a nurse.
Why is your driving so restricted?
I get anxiety when I drive.
