Hey guys what you guys think of Chamberlain college of nursing in Houston? Can anyone check or provide me with the important accreditation programs are looked for? They provide a 3 year on campus BSN program. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.
Also I will be using my GI BILL to attend....

I've heard great things about this school. I plan on attending for my Masters. It is expensive. I spoke with a board rep and she spoke very highly of the school. She worked there this past semester. A know someone who graduated from here as well.

You guys do know that it is DeVry, right? Just checking.
The Houston facility is very nice - lots of great gadgets & simulation equipment.. but with the tuition they charge, it should be nice! I believe they currently have clinical rotations at area hospitals, including Memorial-Hermann Memorial City. However, if you are a veteran, please check with UT Houston, TWU, UTMB and other traditional programs.. they all give special admission consideration for veterans. Those schools are much more well regarded than commercial schools like Chamberlin. It is a new program without much history, but their 2013 NCLEX pass rate was only 87.5%.
I have heard people talk abiut it beibg for profit and devry. Can you explain the devry part please?

Absolutely do not attend these pricey for profit schools. Your money would be better spent at a state university.

In the past I've heard it isn't accredited. Is this true?
