What gift to get for a nursing student?

Published

Hello everyone,

My good friend, who is a nursing student, has a birthday in two weeks. I'd like to get her a cute/awesome gift that is nursing related. However, I cannot think of anything. Would you guys mind giving me some ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it! :)

Magazine subscription?

Specializes in L&D, infusion, urology.

Etsy has some cute badge holders that say things like "Future RN". You can also get one personalized.

What's your budget? $10 vs. $100 makes a difference! :)

Oh? What type of planner do you like?

I am a big believer in gift cards:

  • Etsy
  • Amazon
  • Spa
  • Nursing supply store

Thanks for all the great ideas guys! :)

Overpriced personalised planners. (I require a little more for my money than a fancy monogrammed cover on a plain old planner for 30ish bucks. But here is the link:

Physical or mental...one way or another...future "wound" nurse.

Isn't that what a smartphone is for?

I-tunes gift card, gas card, mani/pedi or brow wax. A gift certificate for her college book store. Put all of them in a really cool travel mug for coffee.

Or a one cup coffee maker with a couple pounds of coffee.

Netflix subscription. Amazon gift card.

A homemade bulletin/cork board with some push pins, a few little notes that say "you can do this" and other cute notes.

And last but not least, a calender that has a funny joke or story every day. Because I am sure she could use the laugh!!

Isn't that what a smartphone is for?

Yes, my smartphone is an overpriced planner...I like that it syncs with my school's calendar. And I can add in any important assignments. ?

Actually, for the money, I like the Uncalendar. I learned about it here on AN. It's not attractive, per se. But I'm a DIYer, so I made modifications.
