I have never had a comprehensive final exam before, so when I heard all of the nursing finals are, I was a bit freaked. (Yeah, I know, duh. Of course they are comprehensive, lol) As it turned out, both of the tests seemed to have a large amount of questions that we had already seen before on previous tests. Although one of our teachers did say that they are only allowed to reuse 10% of their questions, so I am curious, how much of your final was brand new? I am also curious about how many questions are on a final? And how did you prepare for it.. did you read the notes more, or the book, or?

We don't have finals for a couple of weeks, but each teacher has told us to bring the 100 question ScanTron with us. I've been reviewing over the Thanksgiving break.

Wow, mine is on Tuesday and I would be so excited if ANY questions were reused from the previous exams but I don't think it will happen. I am doing tons of NCLEX style questions and re reading all the notes. Ours is also 100 questions. I need 90% or better to get an A in this class, don't know if that's possible.

I have finals in two weeks. I don't really know exactly what to expect but we have a few students who were in the class before and flunked out. They said the entire test is old questions from our previous tests. Supposedly, they are going to give us the tests to look over but I'll believe that when I see it...

I'm trying to study right now and finding it hard to concentrate. I know I do not want to repeat this class, so that should be motivation enough. i can't do clinical in this class again. I'm scared of what the final may be like. If we make anything less than a 75, regardless of how you did in the class throughout the semester, then you fail. No pressure, right? hahahaha I have a B right now.
