What a disappoinment, I'm SO ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have pretty much all my prereqs done except for Chemistry, A&P and Medical Microbiology. Since I moved to a different college I had to wait a long time in order to register. The classes that I needed (Chem and Anatomy) were full so I went to petition and try to get in. After 2 weeks of attending the class both professors said the classes are full and now I have a WASTED semester..........What a shame.................

OMG! I would be torked too! If I were you I'd keep showing up at both classes until they forced me out of there. In my science courses at the U 1/3-1/2 of the students drop close to the 2nd drop date anyways. That is something I'd stress to your profs. Keep your head up!

well the deadline to add a class is coming up soon and both professors already assured they would not be adding anymore students regardless of whether anyone drops because the class is already over the limit. Now my schedule is filled with PE classes, DAnce classes and a PIano class.........

Have you checked in to online classes. Have a co-worker who just did an online chem class for her BSN. She did her "labs" in her kitchen.

I took an online chemistry course in an 8-week summer format!! And this from an old gal who had no clue about metrics!! Some labs were done in a PC format, and every other Saturday we met for live labs and a test. It wasn't bad at all....

Hopefully you can find something like that....and hopefully you can register early enough next time to get those classes!! I know the wait can seem like forever!!

Ouch, I would be upset too! In fact, I was upset when I changed schools and it happened to me. There are some online schools that do those particular classes, the ones I looked at were too expensive for me but you might be able to find other programs than those that I found. I don't know if you are working on your RN or BSN, but if you were thinking of getting a BSN someday, maybe you could do some of those classes?

I hope things work out okay for you and I am so sorry you had such a bad time.:(

Gee!! I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. When I was in school, it seemed like it took forever b/c they either put me on the alternate list or I was moving to a different school (one reason was b/c I had gotten married) so therefore it took SEVERAL years and I only have an Associates Degree. So keep your head up and keep trying. The Lord will work everything out for you as He did for me!
