Calling all Denver/Boulder, Colorado based PN's!....I will be looking for my first gig come June, can any of you give me a realistic range for our area?....I have been hearing that a good average for LTC is $22.00 - 24.00 per hour, I am looking to work over-nights and weekends to start as well....love to here from you!....
Just curious....I am looking to be in the $23.00 to $25.00 p/h range for LTC here in Denver when I graduate this Spring....Any feedback would be appreciated....am I in or out of line for my expectations?
I think out of line. Most LTC's in Denver start at 18.00/hr, add in up to 2.00/hr for diffs, if you are lucky.
I work at a LTC in Aurora, brand new grad, make 20.00/hr PT, no bene's. However, I will say, I have plenty of opportunity to pull 40 hours a week and I love my facility.

Thanks for your feedback...hmmm, I am a bit concerned with those numbers though....I was banking on at minimum 21-22.00 per hr....we will see, only 5 weeks 'til graduation....I am willing to work nights/weekends, any bump there?....
I am not sure if they are still hiring or not. At my facility, no diffs, and strictly no overtime. In fact, I heard some of the aides complain that their wages went down by as much as 50 cents due to them no longer getting differential. They are working hard at bringing the facility back in line.
My suggestion is just to keep your head up and keep applying. The market around here is really tight right now, and in my application experience, most of the facilities are looking for experience. I got lucky.
