Ok so the supplementary materials basically saved my butt in my Fundamentals course. I'm doing a B+ right now. The endless amount of practice questions reinforces the material and helps break down NCLEX style questions. So I was wondering what do you guys think are the best Med Surg books?

we didn't have a 'med/surg' class per se but I used Saunders comprehensive review and NCLEX made easy and just answered question after question...
for the actual med/surg rotation, I have a little pocket guide called "PDQ-RN" that I can carry around that gives really good basic info

Saunders NCLEX is what I used during med surg as my supplement. I caught on late, would have gotten some test questions right.

If you don't have the NANDA-I 2012-2014, NANDA, NOC, and NIC Linkages: Nursing Diagnoses, Outcomes, and Interventions, and the ever-useful Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) you're making your care planning, papers, and clinical preparation a lot harder than it needs to be. Get the whole kit and kaboodle at Amazon for not too much moolah, and you can thank me later. :)

This book was the best purchase I made for Med Surg - Med-Surg Success: A Q&A Review Applying Critical Thinking to Test Taking (Davis's Success): Kathryn Colgrove, Ray Huttel: 9780803625044: Amazon.com: Books
Tons and tons of practice questions.
