Yes, you can now start private conversations with multiple members of the community.
Updated:
Private messages work a little like email, but are limited to registered members with 15+posts. you may include bbcode, smilies and images in private messages that you send.
You may send a private message to a member by...
STEP 1 Click Private Conversation in your Account menu.
STEP 2 Enter member's name (you may include more than one), Subject, and Message
STEP 3 Review then click Send
By default, you will have the Inbox folder but you are free to add new folders.
The 'Inbox' folder contains any new messages you receive. It allows you to view every message you receive.
You can create additional folders for your messages by...
STEP 1 Click Inbox in your Account menu
STEP 2 Click Inbox then 'Add Folders'
STEP 3 Enter folder name
STEP 4 Click Add Folder to save
You will need to periodically delete old messages. Each type of membership has a limit to the number of private conversations one can have in their folders. If you exceed this number, you will not be able to send or receive new messages until you delete some old ones.
To delete a message...
STEP 1 Open the conversation
STEP 2 Click the Options menu (cog icon) and select Delete Conversation.
If you have messages waiting to be read in your inbox, you will be notified via a notification either by mail or alert that will display at the top of the page. It will be visible on any page that you land.

thanks!
Yes, we did and still do have issues with spammers hence the 15 post rule

You can always start a topic in the student section that is viewable by all- much more likely to get responses that way.

I experienced the message too, and I was a little confused. Thank you for explaining what the website considers to be "quality".
