I was a traditional college student so I started in the fall after graduating high school. I was 17. I graduated 4 years later at age 21.
This is the way to go . . . before marriage and kids.
I did actually go to college at 18 and majored in Social Work.
After marriage, kids and divorce I went back to school at 38 to become a nurse.

When I was 17 when I started an ADN program. I dropped out after the first year because I just couldn't do it and was not ready for it. Fast forward a few years and I went and did the LPN program at 28 and am loving it. I do eventually plan to get my BSN. My knees won't last forever, and some of the jobs I would like to do require a BSN.
