I know exactly how you feel!! I have my final HESI on WEdnesday and I have cleaned my house, done laundry, played on the internet and everything else BUT study for my test. I better get after it huh....Good luck to you!

Blehhhhh to tests! I just took my 3rd test in Adult Health I and I think I may have bombed it despite all the studying I did. But the rest of the class feels the same way. Curve? My friends outside of nursing are starting to think I'm going crazy and becoming more delirious as finals approach. Just 2 more weeks till the end of the semester! Good luck to everyone on finals!

Well, I always find hanging around on allnurses.com to be a good way to put off studying for a while.

But I guess I'd better get back to Pharm.

I always find any little thing to distract me from studying. I am just not in the mood. And I should be...HESI is coming up in the same week as our exam#5 next week.

Hey mixy, I know how you feel...I have a test tomorrow and just can't seem to start studying. Probably when the kids go to bed I'll crack into it. I think the long weekend is not letting me get my butt in gear! Well, good luck to you on the test...at least we're not alone in our last minute studies! :icon_roll

I hear ya! I don't want to study either. I have a Fundemental's test tomorrow and an A&P test on Wednesday..clinicals start Thursday.

I've done everything BUT study this long holiday weekend (we had Friday and today off). I went ahead and read upcoming chapters, I've done the corresponding workbook pages for those chapters, went ahead and did some assignments for Med Calculations..but I can't seem to sit and study for the Fund's test or the A&P! (ok, I lie, I have cracked the books and studied quite a bit for these tests..just doesn't seem to want to stick.)..its off to my solice in my bedroom shortly to crack the books. If I don't ace these tests I have no one to blame but the Easter Bunny..(and myself)

Now kids! Get to studying!!

Looks like I'm not alone!

BTW, I made 35 Flashcards since my last posting! :) The big ones, too!

I'm rewriting my lecture notes onto index cards and clustering the info. For example; Pathophys, Nursing Diagnosis, S&S, Pt. Teaching, Assessment, Clinical Manifestations, etc. Our test is on diseases of the respiratory system.

We're heading in to the home stretch of this semester, too, and have a couple of more tests, a final, the HESI, etc., to get through....I am SO tired of textbook and studying and trying to figure out drugs, etc....while I look forward to the summer off, I worry about losing some momentum, too!!
