I recently read that WGU Texas had their approval status changed to conditional and as a result they will not be allowed to enroll new students. I called WGU to inquire about this and they denied that their approval status has changed.
Has anyone---especially WGU Texas Prelicensure students----heard anything about this? I was about to start working on my science courses through Straighterline but now I'm nervous.

Google.com is a tremendously helpful tool at our disposal when attempting to find the answers to our questions:

Thanks, I actually read the document on Google.com. I am curious as to why WGU is not telling prospective students this information.

I would also like to emphasize that this is pre- license not RN---> to BSN
i know you mentioned that already but I think it bears repeating

It's interesting to see the pass rates differ from state to state considering the program is the same throughout. I guess the only difference are the type of students each state admits since that is up to each individual state program.
In Utah they have a 100% pass rate. Also in Indiana the pass rates for the last two years have been 90, and 100%.

Here is an update. According to the Texas BON, WGU had a 96% passing rate for the Nclex in Jan 2016 and are now in full compliance with the BON. They are now able to enroll new students as their status have been changed to active!
