My start date is 10/1/01. I would love a support group. What courses do you guys have to take besides the eight nursing courses?

Hi Everyone...Better me, I have to take nutrition and behavioral science survey, although I am trying to get a clear rationale as to why I have to take the latter as it is a bit confusing...but if I have to take it I gladly will...where are you guys from?? I am in NY ..Long Island to be exact...

I'm in New York as well, Brooklyn. Wow, so close! I'm still waiting on which courses I'll be taking. Hopefully it's only Nutrition and the eight core nursing courses. I'll keep you posted.

My advisor says I'm on target for October 1st. Financial aid is all set and waiting for me to accept the awards...I won't accept UNTIL I know exactly what classes I have to take. They still have not done an evaluatiion of my transcripts. If they want me to retake the biologies, then I will more than likely go with American Sentinel University and pull out of Chamberlain due to second week of statistics being a nightmare.

Ya know, this is becoming kinda hilarious! They keep sending my emails regarding payment by the 25th of the month. So, I'm like, " do my eval by the 24th, then you will get your money by the 25th!" That's like them telling me to pay for a car before I test-drive it. A :jester: , I am not! My funding has already made it there and it's like it's burning a hole in their pockets. So, if they get the lead out, I'll step on the gas pedal. In the meantime, I've just submitted this week's requirement for my nursing course at Chamberlain.

wow there are quite a few of us!...hopefully we can keep each other sane through the process...does anyone know anyone else has done the program?? I found WGU by researching myself, I do not know anyone who has gone through it so I was curious for some insight...:)

A friend of mine enrolled in February 2011 and has completed the program. I am so jealous because she says she sucks at writing essays. I'm very good at essays but the biologies, if they have to be repeated since mine didn't have a lab component, will keep me from going with WGU. For now, I wait...since I had already initiated the admission process....for the transcript process.
