WGU Prelicensure CA May 16

Hi all,

Is anyone applying for the prelicensure RN program in CA with a May start date? I just finished submitting my application, so the waiting begins. I'd love to hear from others, and good luck to us all!

There is a September cohort. I believe the app deadline for that is June

It will be cedars as well as Huntington memorial in Pasadena. I've been told to anticipate having to travel to all sites, LA/OC, but they will attempt to send you to the ones closest to your home.

Hello all!

I have also been accepted into the May Cohort. Cannot wait to meet my fellow classmates and congrats!!!! in the meantime it would be great if we could help each other out during the Pre-licensure term. Any ideas? facebook page?

Congrats to those that were accepted for May! I'm applying into the Sept cohort and hoping it's in Mission Viejo or as south as possible as I'll be coming from North County San Diego for clinicals/labs etc. Sounds like they are adding more cohorts and locations, so that's great news for us applying! And I was told the application deadline is July. I have everything in other than CLEP testing for the Human Growth and Development requirement. So, ALMOST there...

ive read that they typically start a FB page for us but idk if that's prelicensure or just RN-BSN. Maybe we can decide during our first lab. We definitely should try something in case any of us need some help!

Hopefully I will ask the mentor who will be assigned to me about the facebook group page. If one will not be made for us during the Pre-licensure term, then we can definitely create our own group for now :)

I'm doing the webinar tonight at 500 and then speaking with my mentor tomorrow at 0700. Maybe she'll open up the classes then?

I emailed my mentor back with times that I could talk but haven't received a response only "___ is out of the office until [whenever] and will return emails [whenever]"

I'm not sure if I should email again just in case but I feel like she should've done the same thing. Unless she's just going to call me when I said I was available?
