Has anyone who applied to the Pasadena Jan 1st prelicensure cohort heard back?

I applied to the OC cohort for January 1st. Not sure if it was the same for Pasadena, but my advisor informed me awhile back that they extended the application deadline to Oct. 15, which is today. She said I would probably hear back around mid November. Like I said not sure if it is the same for Pasadena but thought it could help, so you don't panic. Good Luck to you. Hope you get in.

I applied to Pasadena. According to my counselor, the deadline has been extended to November 15, and the start date has been extended to February 1, 2014. The Orange County cohort start date has not been changed. What this means for us Pasadena hopefuls is that we have to wait in anticipation for another month!
I just wanted to update you that it is less than one month before the Pasadena cohort is supposed to start, and I still haven't heard back from my advisor as to whether or not I was accepted.
I was supposed to find out by mid-November.
Then it was pushed to early December.
Then it was pushed to mid-December.
Now it's up in the air, according to my advisor. This has been a bit frustrating.

I heard back from my counselor today! Unfortunately I didn't get accepted. I have to raise my GPA and TEAS score. She said that the cut off for GPA is 3.6 and 82% TEAS score. Did you guys get accepted?

I heard back few days ago. I got accepted. Looking forward to start the program. Wondering who else did get in?
Cyndal, don't give up! Keep trying to get those scores up, you can do it.
Yaya, congrats! I still haven't heard back. Maybe I'll get the call within a few days...
I just got the call. I did not get in. The advisor couldn't even tell me why. He said average scores and grades were not released...
Congrats to everyone that got in!
Thanks grrl for the encouragement. I'm going to take the classes again and hopefully get As next time. What is your plan grrl? Are you planning to apply to some other school?
Congratulations Yaya! If you don't mind me asking, do you work in the healthcare field right now? how long have you been working? What is your GPA and TEAS score?
I will be applying to other schools here in Southern California but most of them have wait lists. I'm also going to try again in 6 months for the next cohort.
Your counselor was able to give you the cut-off scores, while mine told me the cut-off scores were "not released" so he could not tell me what part of my application needs to be improved. I want to know so that I can improve my application and he could not help me! I wonder why there's a discrepancy between the counselors.
The only thing I can think of is that I am a tech; maybe I need to be an EMT or MA or something to make my application more competitive.
I also did not get in. My counselor said that I had a competitive application, but needed more patient care experience. I work in a hospital but i'm not a cna or emt. I have a 4.0 in pre-reqs, a bachelor's degree, TEAS of 86 and volunteer in the hospital. She suggested I raise my TEAS and volunteer more. Not very sure if I will continue to apply to WGU since my experience with them has been a bit disappointing. Plus, they only notify students 2-3 weeks before they are expected to start. I don't think that the short notice is very reasonable, especially since I'd have to completely change my work schedule. I will be applying to several other schools in southern CA, but it's really competitive out here. If I don't get in anywhere I will reconsider applying to WGU in the late summer. Good luck to those who got in!
AZUNursing. I would think you would have a really good chance getting in. I am planning to take the TEAS and my prereqs again but I am not even sure if it is worth it this time. There is not a lot of online BSN prelicensure out there.
