I just submitted my application and wanted to start a thread for this year's application cycle. Through this thread we can lend each other advice, support, updates, and/or questions!

A little about me... I recently completed my undergraduate studies and realized nursing was my true passion. I went from pre-med --> pre-dental --> pre-PA and now I'm here! I'm super excited to have applied because I feel life I've finally found what I want to do with myself. I also barely found out that accelerated Master's programs in Nursing exist.

I read last year's thread and it said that people receive an email saying their "application has been forwarded to the admissions department" or something like that. Did anyone who applied already receive this email yet?

Same thing that teamplayer08 stated, LORs, GPAs, and essays. However, they really said they look at the entire application. For example if you have applied before... if you have applied to different programs (they want students who truly want to be a nurse and not using it as a fall back), if your essay truly wowed them. So a lot goes into it! I spoke to Alberto from admissions and he said some emails will be sent out this week to notify the early accepted students. HOWEVER, he said that the rest will be sent after January 7th when they return back to school. So if you do not receive an email this week don't lose hope... there is still a chance you could get one!! I have not received any emails yet besides informing me that my application was still being reviewed by the committee last week!

I see. Wow, I didn't know they look at the application details like if you've applied elsewhere. Thanks for the encouragement! I guess we have to wait just a little bit longer. Maybe it's best to find out after the holidays haha.

I could chose between the 14th and the 25th of Jan. The email didn't say much! Just said expect to be on campus for 4 hours.

If they explicitly invited you to an Interview and not Early Acceptance Opportunity Day, this is an interview, not the early admission invite. I think the 130 means total emails, not just EAOD, since they usually send around 50 of those

wait does that mean that those who didn't receive an email yesterday didn't get an opportunity for an interview?
