Western University MSN-E 2018

Published

I haven't seen any forums about the upcoming application for next year's MSN-E program so I thought I'd start! I have a degree from University of Oregon in Human Physiology with experience as a Medical Scribe and in a variety of PT and Chiropractic settings! (Switched from PT/Kinesiology to Nursing!) I'm interested in the FNP track and am really excited about Western. Feel free to post any questions/stats/etc and join me in freaking out over apps! Are any of you attending any of the upcoming information sessions as well?

I emailed admissions and they said that we'd hear back on Friday 2/16 or today, Tuesday 2/20. Good luck everyone!

Was this specific to EAOD, regular formal interviews or just in general for all applicants?

Sorry, I didn't ask specifically. That's what I was told when I asked for an application status update.

Whats the difference between EAOD and formal interview, interested in applying for the next cycle.

Hey Kiatlin, EAOD is early acceptance. People who got into EAOD have a high chance of being accepted into the program. There is a chance of people in EAOD being asked to be reinterviewed due to certain circumstances. From previous post, during EAOD interviews, prospective students meet with faculty and current students of the program and have a conversation. Regular interviews are when you are interviewed by faculties with questions. Although there is not as high a chance of being admitted as EAOD, people do still get accepted from formal interviews or placed on a waiting list.

Hi everyone, I got my acceptance this last week and submitted my deposit.

Anyone know if there's a FB group yet?

Good luck to the rest of you!!! I hope you get into the program:)

Were you a part of the EAOD or the formal interview? Thanks for the update :)

Oops! I forgot to mention. I was part of the EAOD.

Just put my deposit in. Looking forward to meeting you all in the fall. Was accepted through the EAOD and I am happy to say it was the least stressful "interview" I've ever been to. School seems like it'll be fun. Only gripe is the cost of the program. Pile on the debt! Already planning on working 8 days a week when I get my license.

Hey, I just made a facebook group for those who received admission under the name, Western University of Health Sciences MSNE Class of 2021, on Facebook if anyone who got admitted would like to join.

Still waiting.....

Me too. But I wasn't EAOD

I have an interview this Wednesday! Any tips and advice for me? I believe I am attending the last interview date so hopefully everyone will hear back two weeks after the last interview date!
