Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

Anyone hear anything??? anything at all? Ahhh the wait.....

Nada. I'm so tempted to call...I just don't want to be a nuisance! And they probably won't be able to tell us much. I feel like I can't move on with life (aka other nursing school apps and taking more classes). I keep trying not to think about it but it's so hard not to dwell!

nope, nothing yet. i definitely agree with you BlueEyes 85. i'm not sure if i should sign up for classes or take a trip this summer because i'm not sure about this whole school situation. hopefully we hear back soon!

I agree...I feel like life is at a standstill right now. I'm also applying to other programs, but Western is my FIRST choice. I wonder what our chances as alternates are for next round if things don't go the way we'd like them to go this fall.....I don't know if I should apply to these programs or just re-apply for next year.....decisions.....

Hi all. Nothing here either as far as being called up from the alternate list. It is hard to live life like this - in limbo, but I am trying to make plans as normal. Plans such as trips, etc. can always be changed, so I figure I might as well go along with my normal activities. Good luck to you all and I hope we hear soon!

cgalang, in case you didn't know, theres a facebook group- WesternU MSN-E, Class of 2016. A bunch of students are trying to find roommates that are in this cohort. You should check it out!

Have any of the alternates heard anything yet regarding admission? It seems like it's taking longer this year to get notifications. Here's to more waiting :-/

Hi imagine! I haven't heard anything about alternates hearing back yet. I think some heard around may last year, so we still have time! Stay positive!
