  1. Hi all! I was just taken off the waitlist but informed that I missed orientation last week. What did they mention at orientation? Besides getting my shots taken care of, is there anything else I should take care of? Also, when does school start?
  2. thanks cdevirian! that was very useful information!
  3. The waitlist was updated again on Friday, July 13. If any of you were taken off the waitlist on that day, when do you have to respond to your acceptance letter?
  4. For those at the San Diego campus, any suggestions on areas to check out for housing?
  5. Monruss13, Thanks for offering to answer questions! How do you like the program in San Diego? Kkandes mentioned in a previous post that you mentioned your concerns and issues with the program. If you don't mind me asking, what are those issues? Also, since you're in your fourth semester, do you feel that the program has prepared you for the NCLEX? Thanks again!
  6. jsimpsonlee03, Who did you talk to regarding your low science GPA? I applied for Spring 2013 and received a letter stating I was denied admission. I emailed -------- to ask her how I can improve my application and she told me I had a low science GPA due to my low grade in my Human Anatomy course that I took 5+ years ago. I told her that I retook the course last year and received an A in the course and she said she would talk to an admission counselor about this issue. A few days later she got back to me and said I was admitted for Spring 2013. I would say definitely keep in touch with --------. She was extremely helpful and followed through with my problem.
  7. Gobbstopper, I'm waitlisted too, but I don't see anything on my SFSU account to check for waitlist status. Did you get an email stating that they received your waitlist reponse? It said that the wait list can be accessed May 15. I'm not sure if that meant that they'll be able to update us on our wait list position on our account or if that means that they'll start accepting people off the wait list. If anything, I think you might have to wait until then to check on your status.
  8. congratulations! just wondering, when do you guys have to respond back to sfsu about whether or not you will accept your spot. i'm waitlisted so i just want to have an idea of when i might hear back.
  9. nope, nothing yet. i definitely agree with you BlueEyes 85. i'm not sure if i should sign up for classes or take a trip this summer because i'm not sure about this whole school situation. hopefully we hear back soon!

  14. jsimpsonlee03, any word on your application after your interview? did they say when they would get back to you on whether you are accepted into the program? i just turned in my application so hopefully it's not too late to set up an interview. christina
  15. Dedicatedone - They email you to contact them about your application. Once they call you, they tell you that you have been invited for an interview.
