Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

For every group that is being interviewed is there about 20 people per group? If so does that mean that there will be a total of 100 people left ( 2 groups thursday, 2 friday, and one saturday)?

In theory. There were 18 in my group when I interviewed.

Yea I know exactly what you're going through and the agony in waiting to hear back from WesternU. Just be positive and if it's really for you then you'll get it. I majored in BS Biology.

Hey guys, I am in cohort VIII and I was at early acceptance day to help out the future students. I just want to say, do not dispare if you haven't heard back yet, it does take them a while to get through applications after interviews. I know it's hard, but try to be patient. The best advice I can give you is to keep with it and remember to update the college of any new classes, volunteer work or payed work that you are doing. Every little bit helps! I think my interview went ok! Other than the stumbling over words because of nerves (so frustrating!) I think it was good. Even in hindsight I don't think I would change any of my answers. I'm just glad it's over! Now for the waiting game...

I think my interview went well! I don't want to wait anymore though - this decision could change my life! Anyone from the February 25th interview receive and email yet?? I know I know, it's only Monday!

I know the post interview wait is rough! I doubt you'll hear anything until at least the first week of March. I know Eva told our group that admission notifications would be going out no earlier than two weeks from our interview date. Hang in there!

I was wondering if anyone knew the exact number that the admissions committee was taking? On the website I saw 60 students and then in the interview booklet that was given the day of the interview it says 50 students? Maseca you said that you think there is at least 10 people who received their acceptances already right? So does that mean from all the interviews done they will only be selecting 40 more if in fact they are planning on taking 50 students?
