Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

There are about 10 that I know of but not everyone who is applying is on this website or the Facebook page and I'd have no way of knowing about those. I'm sure plenty more have been offered acceptance. I believe this cohort will be 50. I know last year they accepted several people off the wait list because not everyone who is accepted will actually attend Western.

Thanks Maseca. Wow 50 for the entire cohort is so few seeing as how acceptances have already been given out. I hope we will find out the first week of march the wait is killing me and I am sure it is dreadful for the other applicants as well!

I checked Fall 2011 forum and some people got their acceptance email March 10th!!!! So I hope we will get our letters next week as well (crossing my fingers & toes)!!:)

Well, the interviews were only supposed to go through the 24th.. I was at the one on the 25th. Sooo... in my head I am stressing more and attemting to do math in my head. I am trying to find some ounce of optimism, hope and excitement. When really, patience is what I need! Maseca, did you apply/get accepted anywhere else or was Western your first choice??

I didn't apply anywhere but Western, so I'm quite relieved to have been accepted!

CONGRATS! :yeah:You are soooooo lucky you don't have to wait like the rest of us. lol

I was so nervous I kept shaking during my interview. But my interviewers did say I look excited to be in their program...so I guess this is a good thing right? :sniff:

Well, I did submit my application on the first day possible, so I waited for about 6 months! Hopefully the wait will be over soon for everyone!

Fair enough. lol If you don't mind me asking, do you live around the area? If not, are you planning to move close? Any plans?
