Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

I saw on the Concordia posts you are waiting to hear from them as well? I am applying there for Fall 2012. Have you checked out the campus yet or had an interview? Ahh this is so crazy, I push refresh on my mail box so often I think the button will break soon. Where else have you applied?

Yes I am waiting to hear back from CUI sometime during mid-March. Hopefully they will invite me to an interview! lol. I heard it is a group interview! :eek: I have never been to their campus. Have you? If not, maybe we can check it out together!

CUI is my last resort though because it is an ABSN program. I do not know much about their program....

Besides for Western and CUI, I also applied to UCLA. I live 15 mins walking distance from UCLA and I work for UCLA so it is really convenient for me if I get in, but Western is my #1 choice.

Hey Butters, I'll be applying to CUI as well for Fall 2012....in case Western doesn't fall through, although, Western is my first choice. I haven't heard anything about their program either. I was recently rejected from APU :(....

Thanks. I have been in an interview, but it was for a job. DID NOT like it at all because you really need to fight for your time.

I don't know how many applied. I don't even know if ppl know about CUI. there are hardly anyone on that forum. I applied for Summer 2012 because if I get rejected, I can immediately apply for the fall 2012. lol

And I am guessing you applied for Fall 2012?

Western is definitely better than CUI though. I am banking on Western.

Congrats Butters! How funny we were just talking about that school. The best of luck to you. I guess you will get your tour during the interview and I would love to know how you compare it to Western...location, facilities, classrooms etc.

BTW...at our Western interview, were you one of the last 3 people to have your interview? If so, I think we were in the same group
