Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

Congrats Butters! How funny we were just talking about that school. The best of luck to you. I guess you will get your tour during the interview and I would love to know how you compare it to Western...location, facilities, classrooms etc.

BTW...at our Western interview, were you one of the last 3 people to have your interview? If so, I think we were in the same group

Thanks Michelle1985! I was crying so hard when UCLA rejected me but when I saw CUI email I stopped. lol Still going to cry some more when I get out of work. :crying2:

And I will definitely let you know about CUI. I will post it on the CUI form though. lol

My interview with Western was on Jan 17th at 12:45pm. I was in the second to the last group. Do you recall seeing a young Asian girl with medium long black hair wearing a whiteish blazer with strips and gray jeggings? lol

Don't be discouraged. I just found out I was rejected from UCLA too! I'm still waiting on Western, since I interviewed in Feb. I have some backup schools on the East Coast/Midwest, but would like to stay in CA. This is going to be a long month!

Hi all! After reading all your posts for so long, I decided to join! I know people are wondering, and the more info, the better! My interview at Western was Feb 21st at 12:45pm and I am still waiting to hear. So hopefully that sheds some light on it! they told us we would hear in about 2 weeks.... the wait is so anxiety inducing! Good luck to all!

Just hang in there and stay positive guys. I know how the waiting is very stressful as I can attest to it. Try to relax and I'm sure you'll hear the good news soon.. :) Good luck! :)

Hey Butters,

I cannot remember if I recognize that outfit, I was so nervous that day that I can barely remember anything: even what I said in my interview lol. But I was literally the 2nd to last person to have my interview for the day. I believe I was done at 4:45pm that day.

I guess this is the week we will all find out. Ahhh, I am so nervous but excited. Just remember that whatever happens is usually for the best and many schools have application dates throughout the yr so we can always apply again to other schools.

Hey Michelle 1985 Did they tell you it was going to be this week forsure. From what they said it was 2-3 weeks and this will be the second week so I am hoping to hear this week hopefully March 10th like last year.

Yea the wait is horrible but everyone is going through it. I really hope we hear this week, but my counselor did say there were 210 applicants interviewed so it might take longer compared to last year was only 168 people interviewed.

I hope by this week we will know if we got in or not. The wait is killing me.lol. Thats a lot of applicants :( Has anyone received a letter from Western at all? Or is it mainly by email if you got accepted? Goodluck everyone!!!! One question for anyone: Does anyone know how greatly they weigh your acceptance by the interview or do they base it off mainly gpa, major, experience, etc.
