Hi everyone! Hoping to connect with people who applied to Western U's MSN-E program for Fall 2023! I know we're supposed to start hearing back sometime in January, hoping to get insight if anyone has heard back yet?

I haven't heard anything from Western. My application says submitted but that is it. Wad EOA something you had to select when filling out your application? Are they having interviews for regular admission still?

4.0 GPA for prereqs
3.92 GPA undergrad majored in journalism minored in Latin American Caribbean and Latino studies.
I did my CNA over the Summer picked up per-diem shifts, just for the experience (and application) worked as a PCA for a bit in college.
Lots of volunteering doing various things — mostly not health care related but volunteered at vaccination sites & did community outreach during covid. I got certified to teach English and volunteered teaching English and helped immigrants with citizenship. Worked with intercity youth.
I've worked in cosmetics and for skin care brands as an education manager for the last several years. Taught makeup classes to cancer patients/burn victims.
Hope that helps! Don't get discouraged. Just keep building your resume — apply everywhere and something will come to you! This is my second round of applications.
Also I don't have the perfect GPA! I have a 3.5 in Prereqs and 3.4 in undergrad (BS in Health Science). I am a first gen Latinx student.
I worked for a nonprofit that focused on health promotion for K-12 students (1year) followed by becoming a Clinical Research Coordinator at a FQCH studying Covid antibodies (1year), and finally my current job (1year) as a HIV Prevention Specialist. I feel like schools look more for experience and what you learned from it.

Hey everyone!
I also have not received any communication via email. I'm not an early decision applicant (I'm not sure if that was even an option?).
Will the school be giving out reject letters? or wait list?

That's what I'm wondering! Was EOA something you had to specifically apply for?
