Westchester Community College WCC Fall 2018 TEAS

Hi guys,

I am applying to WCC for the fall. Did anyone take their TEAS yet?

Someone I know who took the TEAS posted on FB that they got in- has anyone else heard yet? I'm leaning towards this person just assuming they're in and posting early vs actually hearing but its been almost 2 weeks now.

No nothing yet , I means if that's true that would the earliest reply from the department in a few years, looking back at all the other forums .. so idk

Also getting SUPER antsy here!!! Ahhh! Does anyone plan on working part time/full time if accepted? They need to let us know because I need to make life plans here :)

Me too soooo nervous... but I wrk 40plus but if god willing I get in the program this time Ima tell my job I can only wrk max 30hours. My friend in the program said it's super intense. He said they have a test every week or other week, sometimes 18 chapters at once and only 20 questions on the test lol

Wow, that's crazy but I'm sure we're all ready for it! And 30 hours is still quite a bit. I was planning on keeping it under 20 hours/week. I also work about 50-60 hours/week now but definitely cannot do that while in nursing school. Hopefully, we will hear back within the next 2 weeks or so.

I work part time so I'll just continue to do that if possible while in the program. Best bet might just be a waitressing job at some point.

I know that's still a lot hours, hopefully I can manage both full time. Yet again, I don't want get to ahead of myself since idk if I'm getting in or not :/...but still keeping positive!

still haven't heard anything. Its acceptance only sent via email or do they also send it via traditional mail?

They sent it via email , the one you put for your teas exam
