Westchester Community College WCC Fall 2018 TEAS

Published

Hi guys,

I am applying to WCC for the fall. Did anyone take their TEAS yet?

Congrats I no this time u def. in

Thank you! I really hope so! Not getting too excited just yet. Have you asked if they can take your previous score ? Personally I think that should be allowed and don't know why it would be a problem. Your TEAS score is valid for 1 year. Definitely email and ask !

Does anyone know if they go with the highest tea score (still eligible since in was taken 6months ago) or the most recent teas score (taken this march). I remember the proctor speaking about it last year, but I don't recall exactly what she saidí ¾í´”í ¾í´¦í ¼í¿½*♀️

I did, but you already know how it is getting in touch with these ppl. Everything is top secret..smh

I got a 91 so hopefully not too many scored too much higher. I heard some rumors that there were quite a few 91's and above. Whether that's people just starting crap or being serious I do not know. I know that we handed in our applications and we were all approved to sit for the TEAS so is our admission soley based on the TEAS or do we have to have our transcripts scrutinized? I got a 91 on the TEAS when I took it Thursday but I didn't do all that fantastic in my Anatomy and Physiology's. I had a really tough professor but I guess thats why they only go by the TEAS- bc it really tests whether you know it or not?

Strictly based on teas score

Well let the anxiety begin ! Who knows how long until we hear. This is gonna be a stomach churning wait.

Nope í ½í¸’, i wonder how many ppl they gona take this time, hopefully the 40 . Last semester was only 26, idk why tho

While we're all just sitting here biting our nails waiting to hear I figured maybe just to post this for those just lurking on the pages for prep for the TEAS in october. Study from the Accepted Inc Teas VI book. NOT THE ATI GUIDE. that book didn't prepare me for anything. Also watch crash course videos on YouTube for anatomy and physiology. That's the only reason I scored the way I did. There's also a Teas next month for the rockland community college program if anyone is interested.

I actually agree with that- when I studied for the test back in October i studied the ATI guide book SO well- cover to cover. I memorized all the definitions and everything. It didn't do S***. This time I studied from the Accepted Inc Book, I tried Mometrix but it was way too much info that I wasn't even asked. I also watched every crash course video over and over and over again. So much better. That ATI book is such a scam and I'm so mad bc I'm sure all of us spent a bunch of money on those things! I feel almost robbed.

And side note- if its 40 people you should get in with your new score just fine. Last time the cut off for 40 people was 79. I had a 78.6 and when i called the office I was told I missed it by EXACTLY 2 spots. so a 75 and above should basically guarantee a spot for 40 people especially considering less people took it this time than in October.
