West Georgia Tech ASN program

Has anyone applied to west ga tech ASN program? I applied to the newnan campus for summer 2013. Does anyone know what an average gpa/teas score or competitive selection score is for those that were accepted to any of their campuses?

No haven't heard anything yet. That is one of the reasons I applied was because I am a CNA and I considered it a blessing since most don't have it and perhaps not so many people will be able to apply yet. I also applied to GA Highlands and Chattahoochee. I have an interview with Chattahoochee on Tuesday. Good luck to all of us!

Yeah, I also thought that not many people would be able to apply. My score wasnt so good, but I tried anyways.. so I was hoping maybe not alot of people applied. Good luck on your interview!

Well hopefully we all get in to our first choice! I wonder what exactly the competitive selection "results" will tell us. I wonder whether it will have the group applicant statistics.

I am applying now for the Murphy Campus so deadline is June 1st. I have mostly Bs 1 A, but I have As in medical micro, but it doesn't help for competitive selection. Have you taken the TEAS yet? I got a 78 but there's no time for me to take it again.[/quote']

I did take the TEAS. But I'm retaking. I decided to apply this jan for the newnan campus. I was going to apply to Lagrange but since I have a two year old being close to home will be a lot easier on me. And anyway it's only 4 months difference. Have you heard anything back?

The competitive selection just tells you, your information, and a break down of your points I recieved mine yesterday.

In the mail or email? Does it give any dates regarding when decisions will be made?

In the mail. yes, it says letters will be mailed out by july 12th.

very nerve racking, you would think if they had everyones points figured, then they should know who gets accepted and who doesnt.
