Need feedback on anyone who has completed the online FNP program of West Coast University. Do they provide support with clinical placements, sense of workload and if instructors are supportive? Looking to apply to the school and want to be sure its worth the money.
They teach to course content and not to pass the boards. In your last semester, then you get access to board practice tests. In the end, many of us still had to pay for popular board review courses to feel confident enough to take the boards. This is standard practice for pretty much all the NP programs. Instructors are very supportive and readily accessible

Compared to where I am now. At least they teach and are accessible. Some of the students in my classes say they go weeks without a response. I’m prepared to take a review course upon graduation. But where I am they don’t even teach content to the tests. You get one or 2 discussion questions for each module and am told to read all 8 chapters and be prepared. It’s crazy.
Hello everyone, New here looking to start at West Coast University and the Miami location I'm currently in Florida but mostly will be online. Has anyone went through the program? If so, how did you fill? The program was/did you get all the materials that you need/what was it like as far as ours for assignments and also working I'm currently a single mom of three so I want to see if this will be something for me to be able to balance working full-time on top of completing the program I am leaning towards a 32 month option versus the 20 month because I'm not sure how much the load is if I do the 20 month yes I would rather get done faster but at the same time I don't want to get in a jam and fail/repeat courses thank you. Offer your help if you guys can email me any information that you guys have that would be great I can be reached at [email protected] and if you guys need any other, I am on Facebook thank you. I can provide my name if needed. I am debating on just doing my masters to NP or just taking my masters first any suggestion suggestions will be a great help.

Do you feel they actually prepare you for the tests and not hung out to dry? I’m going to have to repeat a couple courses if I transfer. But it would be worth it if it’s not self taught and have the availability of instructors.
