West Coast University Post Masters FNP

Updated:   Published

Need feedback on anyone who has completed the online FNP program of West Coast University. Do they provide support with clinical placements, sense of workload and if instructors are supportive? Looking to apply to the school and want to be sure its worth the money.

Like more or less like 45 mins ?

Yes, the interview was almost like a job interview for a nurse. Mine lasted about 30-40mins but I think it is individualized based on discussion flow and if candidate has questions.

Hi. I just a call from college saying i got admissions for post master FNP there.

Hey there,

I started this program July 1st. Would anyone else who started July 1st be interested in joining a Facebook group? If so, please message me at nursempdl at gmail.com. Thanks!

Wondering how this MSN program has been going for you guys?? Going to start in January and want more information on passing rates/ acceptance into program after 1st year.

Program is pretty intense but doable. Work load is pretty much spread out unlike some other programs where it is crammed into an 8-week class. You can look up the website for info about passing rates. Good luck

Hi Everyone!

I had my FNP interview last Friday. I was wondering how long does it take to hear from them?

Hello. I am scheduled to start my FNP program at WCU on January 10th 2022. Wanted to ask previous/current student how was your experience. will you recommend? is it possible to work and go to school?. I am looking at switching from UTA where I recently completed my BSN to WCU for my FNP. any response will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I finished my FNP program. I was working full time all throughout the course. it was a little tough in some semesters, but worth the hardwork. All the professors will be available any time if you have questions. good response from the professors is a good point.

I’m thinking of transferring there from my current NP Program. Do they provide you with lectures, videos, zoom, etc to learn material or are you pretty much on your own?

Yes they provide you with materials to work through and some video content. The due dates keeps you accountable. The tests are done with monitored camera etc. Good luck
