Just wondering if everyone else is as burn out and ready for summer as I am???:uhoh3: :uhoh21: :uhoh3: :uhoh21:

What are you guys doing this summer? I am going to be dieting, moving, and playing with my kids......weeeeeeeeeee!:lol2:

if anything i learned one great lesson this semester, dont take psychology with sociology. they go over the same stuff but with different view points and it gets confusing. i also learned the school advisors dont always know what theyre talking about... " oh taking these two together will be easy"... speak for yourself. however i do have an a and b in those to so i guess its not that bad. for this summer, i plan on leaving my current job at the carwash. last day there is june 9. no i dont have another job lined up but i have gotten a phone call from a local hospital for a cna job so i hope i can do that. ill probably take microbio this summer, i heard its a hard class to get into. good luck to all

I am taking this summer OFF!!! I need a break. Since I'll be starting the Nursing program in the fall, I figure I deserve it. I can get my house in order and prepare for school, and THAT'S IT!!!!

Good luck everyone! I am taking my last two co-reqs this summer so as the Director put it I will be "fine" to get into the Nursing Program for the Spring. I only had my pre-reqs and 3 co-reqs finished to count toward the Fall admissions so I was not accepted despite my high GPA and NET scores.

The best news is I will have time to work part-time this summer and full-time this Fall so that I can save more money before I get into Nursing School. I am also going to look at my Fall rejection as a blessing by continuing to train to run a marathon even if I do not run one (due to kids not lack of will) and volunteer when I can just for fun! ;)

Your post reminds me of my promise to train for the local marathon if I don't get into nursing school this fall. Won't know about nursing school until May, but I should step up the training now, since I'm in such crappy shape.

I am so burnt out right now...I wish I could have a break. But it is ok! I'm taking my final pre-reqs (Patho and Nursing as a profession-whatever that is?) and i'm playing with my son. It is going to be great!

Malia, I have been running since January. It was not a New Years Resolution or a promise due to rejection, it just worked out that way. Anyway, it feels good to be back in running shape so give it a try!

The worse case scenario is I will be in good shape to run a marathon but I won't have the opportunity due to lack of child care. Either way I will still feel good.

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

I'm going to take Dev Psych during the May mini-mester and A&P II during Summer II. Hopefully, I can find a part time job during Summer I. It will be a busy summer!
