Hey Future RN's & LPN's,

I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat

Specializes in Sub-Acute care unit, geriatrics.
hey, take a break even only for 1 day. If infos do not absorb anymore, don't force your mind. When you're in good mood, then sit again and review. Don't let anxiety affect your performance. Even if it's hard not to get anxious.

Good luck and God Bless!

Thanks. I decided not to study today. I will try to relax and calm myself until im ready again. Maybe tomorrow I will be back on track. Thank u so much!

You know what? Few weeks before the exam I was asking myself how to do good with pharm. What i did, i reviewed my notes and paid attention with endocrine, gastric, psych & cardio meds. I read the pharm section of kaplan course book. I didn't memorize. I just made myself familiar with meds. And then i aswered pharmacology questions from kaplan & saunders. remember when the question ask "the nurse should be most concerned",pick the most life threatening among the choices. if it's asking for early symptom, pick the least life threatening for ex.nausea. Neurologic problems are late symptoms most of the time like tremors, slurred speech, etc.

I hope this helps.

Don't worry to0 much! You can pass:wink2:

P.S.

I did 100 questions a day and then i read my notes from kaplan & saunders 1 week before the exam. I did review pharm 3-4 days before the exam.
