Has anyone gone through the Weiss Memorial RN residency program or interviewed or know anything about it other than what can already be found online? Any inside info would be appreciated regarding the interview & hiring process as well as the program itself. Thanks!

Thanks Smiggers!! I really want the job as do many others..It is so bleak for new nurses and I had a ton of interviews that resulted in nothing so this would be awesome. I will definitely post what they decide as far as me being hired.

I wouldn't get too worried yet, I interviewed on a Weds. & did not hear back from them until the following Thurs. Good luck! Keep us posted.

How long did most people wait from when you applied to when you got a call for the phone interview? If you don't even get the phone interview will you get an e-mail rejection?

It took about 3.5 weeks from the time I applied to the time they first contacted me. I was scheduled to take the NCLEX the following week so they told me to call them back after I passed the NCLEX to set up a phone interview. Don't know what happens if you are rejected since I start working there in one week!! Woo hoo! But seriously, good luck to you! Hope they call soon.

I wonder if they are still hiring it sounds like they already offered a lot of positions. I just applied to the program less than 2 weeks ago.

I called them today and they informed me that all the positions are filled.
