how was everyone's week? mine wasn't that bad. for the last couple of weeks, i have been doing the elliptical trainer, crunches & push-ups for a mininum of 30 min per day for at least 3 days per week.

my update: 170/166/125 i weighed in last tuesday at 166. i requested not to see my weight or hear it until i got into my car to look. i was shocked, because i totally thought that i had gained.

how is everyone else doing? i am sure we got a lot of "losers" out there! :)

Congrats, Sara! :)

Anyone have any good low-points foods they like? Right now I'm all about Jose Ole mini taquitos. Those puppies are only 2 points per serving (4 mini taquitos). I also like the Lean Pockets breakfast pockets with egg, cheese & sausage. They're only 3 points for 1 pocket.

Pop-Secret 94% fat free snack size microwave popcorn, only 2 points for the whole bag!

Just joined WW two days ago. I have to do something since I'm slowly putting on weight while going to school! Little hard to start with, I'll have to figure out my 0 points and pull some of my meals from them.

RN-BamaStudent,

Roll Tide! :) Try the 0 point WW veggie soup. It is really good. If you dont like some of the veggies in it, my leader said we can change it to any 0 point veggies that we do like.

Oh yeah...that veggie soup is awesome. Helps fill you up a lot!

Anyone ever try 5 can soup? It's easy & it's pretty darn good too! My husband really likes it...and it's only 3 points for the entire pot!

1 can (14.5 oz) Del Monte Fresh Cut Whole New potatoes, drained & cubed

1 can (14.5 oz) Del Monte Fresh Cut Sliced Carrots, drained

1 can (14.5 oz) Del Monte Fresh Cut Zucchini with Italian-Style Tomato Sauce

1 can (14.5 oz) Del Monte Fresh Cut Diced tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano

1 can (14 oz) chicken or beef broth

Combine all ingredients in large pot. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat

and simmer 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

I have been to 3 meetings. I'd like to lose approx. 30 lbs. I've lost only .4 lbs q week for a total loss of .8 lb. I try to drink water and I try to fit in the veggies/fruits and I am doing better than I first did this past week. I even had my thyroid checked and it is WNL. I've been exercising at the Y 30 min 4-5x/week for past year w/o any weight loss. If these first weeks are the biggest for weight loss, then I've got YEARS to go! I work 3 12 hour nights a week. Usually FRi/sat/sun and sometimes 4 hours extra 1-2x/week. Sometimes, I can barely get my 22 points/day in. I have to say I am not hungry, though. I can live w/ eating like this and I feel better, but I want some weight loss too. Any tips? Sorry to vent! Oh goodness, I didn't realize this is the student forum. Sorry to crash it. I am an old nurse, but I'd still be happy for any of your tips because if you are students, Lord only knows you are stressed out. So, if you're losing weight, I can use your advice. Thanks again.

Hang in there. Try eating all your points and all of your flex points in the week. Keep drinking the water & exercising. How are you at journaling?

Oh, and don't worry that you're not a student...stop on in. We keep a "sticky" Weight Watchers thread at the top of our forum, so check that out if you'd like, too. :)
