sorry for the lateness! i had surgery friday & developed some complications over the weekend, but i am back to normal now.

my update: 170/170/125 (starting weight/current weight/goal weight)

my husband & i cleaned out our pantry tonight. we threw out all the junk food. i am so embarrassed about my weight. i can't fit into any of my jeans. the only pants i can wear are my scrubs and sweat pants. i absolutely refuse to buy any larger sizes.

how is everyone else doing? how was your weekend and your new year's day? i hope everyone else has had a more productive week than i did.

best wishes!

here I am at 5'3" and 190!!!!! I have been as low at 118 in the past and as high as 204 . 190 Is what I weighed when I was 9 mo. Pregnant , my son is now 4! I cant keep the strengh and will power to do it I find myself always thinking about the next thing I can eat. I am hoping that once school starts I will be able to not eat as much cause i wont have the time. Husband just left us so I am like super depressed, which usually makes me loose but not this time. I wish to be 150, It is a great weight for me and looks good not to skinny and no rolls under my bra LOL. I cannot afford weight watchers as I have no job, hubby was sole supporter, I am currently on food stamps ( how embarrassing) . Any suggestions? support , help?! Thanks. e mail is [email protected] if anyone has any suggestions.

n8isgr8...

sorry to hear about your troubles of late. :kiss

Best advice I can give re: weight loss is to try & make good choices in what you eat. Make sure you eat plenty of fruits & veggies & watch your portion sizes. Try to avoid fatty and sugary foods. Seeing as you're pregnant, you really shouldn't "diet" at this point.

Hang in there! :kiss

Ok I just started on the first and I am already down three pounds!!! I was 156 according to the scale in the hospital and when I weighed my self again on it during work yesterday I was 153!!! I couldn't believe it. I didn't use any flex points and did about 3 sets of twenty stomach crunches a day. If this type of loss continues I will surely reach my 125 goal by graduation in may!!!!

Thanks for this thread. After I got married I gained 25 pounds by our first anniversary. I am now 170 and want to get down to 140 at the most, less would be good but I am a realist, so 140 works for me.

I just ate 3 Godiva truffles, and now that I've seen this post I'm throwing away the box even though there are still 13 left. NOw I'm going to go check out the Weight Watchers website.

Good luck to everybody!!

I should reach my first 10 lb loss at next week's meeting if all goes well. Only have 1.75 lbs to go for that mini-goal. :D

I went to my 1st weigh-in after week 1, and lost 6.4 pounds! :D

Congrats! That first week's big loss is such a motivator, isn't it? :)

Keep up the good work!

I just went to my first WW meeting on Tuesday. They have free registration right now, and the fast track program is free . There were quite a few of us who were new so they had already given away all the fast tracks but should have them in a couple of weeks. I feel that I need the discipline of being weighed each week and having to go to a meeting. They have a topic that they discuss each meeting and then answer questions that people have and then do celebrations people who have reached thier goal or have lost over 5 lbs. I wish I was 5'9" because I weigh 134 and am 5' tall my goal is to get down to at least 110 or 100 if at all possible thats what I weighed until I turned 36..... I had a baby 16 months ago and lost 35 pounds but need to loose the rest. I like the program its easier to count points then to worry about fat grams and calories.

You won't regret joining! It really works! :)

Hmmm...I think I'd have to be 6'8 to be at the weight I am now. LOL :chuckle
