Hi. Im an intl. student, just about to take NCLEX.What should I do after passing the Nclex to be a PACU nurse?
To Yira: Get yourself a course in ACLS, PALS & at least a year or two in an ICU of your choice. You will need it to be able to assess for the critical conditions clients come to PACU with from the OR. Be comfortable with EKG's & airway management. Best wishes!! It's the best job in the hospital! :monkeydance:
