Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?
I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.
I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.
So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?
I had 17 points and received an acceptance letter to WC, but I was also accepted to TCC and chose to go there instead since it is much closer to home.
For the Spring semester, I think 19 points and above should be pretty competitive. Remember, they only accept 20 applicants in the Spring, so it is going to be a bit harder to gain a spot.
Newcomers, this is a great place! It has been really great getting the support of other members here through all this (and in the future). Having people I felt like I knew in Orientation was really great. Nice to have met you Formack and Heather!!
One conclusion our group came to is this, The Cream Of The Crop find allnurses.com. From looking at the track record of members here, I think we are right. :yelclap:

I had 17 points, I was on the alternate list but was one of the first few called up. I think 18 and 19's got in. 16&17 on waiting list
