Weatherford College Fall 2012 start

Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!

PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.

Working hard in my science courses is paying off. So far I have As and I will keep plugging along.

Christy, I compared programs and I believe TCC is more expensive than WC even if you live in Tarrant. I will apply to both programs this Summer if I dont get in to WC.

I only applied to WC main campus.

Idlees, I know you will make it in also with your points, I think you will be surprised. Even if some 17's make it onto the alternate list, you will be at the very top.

Hello Everyone... I have been keeping tabs on various postings on this site for a few weeks now, and decided to reply for the first time. I applied to both Weatherford and TCC nursing programs and like all of you, hope to get an acceptance letter or email soon. Hopefully we will all be starting nursing school this fall. Welcome marcusitus! My mail already came today, nothing for me today. Oh well, need to focus on the four tests I have coming up!

So, Marcusitis.... If you don't mind sharing, where do you stand with points for your application?

Simcr, do you know how many people applied last semester when u made alternate?

No Christy, I don't know how many, I thought it was around the same as this time. The big advantage this application period is there will be double the slots and more alternates. For my application period they only had 11 alternates.

I applied with 18 points...just hope it is enough.

marcusitis, i have 18 pts as well! i know that is definately enought to get into the program. i had 16 points and made it on the alternate list with only 20 slots, so i am feeling ok.
