Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!
PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.
Simcr, yes I do have time to read. But, lets say you have clinical, checkoffs, and 2 tests in a week...then you will have to do more focused reading. I too have 2 kiddos, ages 6&7 and my husband works out of town a lot of the time. So, it is hard. Just get everyone prepared to eat out more, or eat easier meals and succumb to the fact that your house will not be as clean. I put my kids to bed and stay up late studying. If I get 6 hours of sleep during the week then i am doing good. I do try to sleep in a little on Saturdays. Plus, you only go 4 days a week. So, you have that extra day off to study, practice skills. I always use that day to meet with a friend a study, work on quizzes, etc.
I hope your lettes come today!!!

Formack, do you have time to read all? I thought there was so much you just couldn't from reading post on how to survive nursing school. I will probably follow your study ideas because I will only be cutting out the notes during my reading but that should be fine. I have two kids but they will be 10 and 14 when i start so they should be able to handle most things. The only downfall I forsee is my husband..he is very supportive but he is a police officer and hours change and there is nothing we can do about that. I am an evening person, love staying up late and sleeping in, so that will be another change. Guess I need to start learning to like coffee.
